Fuel Performance Products BC

Here is a Business Card I made up for a Client, the photos are from IStockphoto.com. The client really just kept repeating the word "Green" when he was relating what he wanted, so I gave it to him... Green color, Green Energy, Green Chemistry, Green...

I really like how it turned out, I just wish I could only have an 1/8th of an inch margin instead of 1/4th.

A poster made for the Po'Boys Brass Band. I used a couple of photos of mine of a church in downtown Rochester, and created this piece.

Squashdown 2008 T-shirts

These are T-shirt designs for the SquashDown @ Salmon Creek. I had a lot of fun doing these, I just love working with these cute happy little critters. BTW my wife Sharah, and our friend Jennifer Royall created these guys.

Macedon Historical Society

I created this quad fold brochure for the Macedon Historical Society, I even had the pleasure of getting out of the office for an hour or so to photograph several of the signs pictured here. This was a total rebuild from an original the client provided. I recreated the map from their pencil sketch, and added a new area. I also created a logo for Macedon, NY like that on the original. Lastly I added the washed out or ghosted photo background. The Client reportedly loved the entire layout.

Samlon Creek Logo

I have Recently been given charge over nearly all graphics for my church. This is the Logo I've created for it.

Another Business Card

Another business card. It's a delicate balance when dealing with an image like this with text over it. You can see why. Having it too dark you can't see the text, too light and the image looses meaning.

I think this is a happy enough compromise between image meaning and text readability, even at the reduced size here.

A Business Card for "Huffman Enterprises", I think you can tell what they do. I'm not releasing their phone number though.

Salmon Creek "Link Card"

Our Church here has something called a "Link Card." Our Current one has been in use since the founding of the church around 6 or 7 years ago. We use it to keep better in touch with the congregation, attendees can let us know whats going on with them and lets us know if we are doing a good job.

This Link Card is my redesign based on the original "rack card" style. This iteration is a 4.25 by 7 card as to get 4 per 8.5x14 sheet. I don't know if we are going to do these in house or order them like the last group, I really hope we order them.

I showed it to the Church ?Secretary? (she's the do everything woman) and she loved it. She's going to show it to the leadership at the next meeting or this Sunday.

Update: These are going to be printed in house and in small weekly quantities as to be able to have a changeable section every week (the box with the apples).

Squashdown 2008

I really love it when I get to work with all original art. The logo and Characters were created by Sharah Naas (my soon to be bride as of October 11, 2008), and Jennifer Royal (a good friend of ours) for this event.

This was made for the Salmon Creek Community Church "Squashdown". A family oriented safe event for children of all age groups. The idea is to provide somewhere for children to enjoy the novelty of dressing up, and a safe environment to do it. The church does this at a lose, to provide a community service.

Here's the deal, you bring your children and give them each $1 (ONE DOLLAR, or not) in return your children get to play penny games most of the evening. Each game pays out candy to every player, the "winner" get the lion's share but all the kids get something from every game.

The end result is your kids walk (or run) away with bucket loads of the sweet stuff and you have the security of knowing they are safe. There are plenty of adults around all the time.

Side note: This is the squashdown's second year, last year was a blast I hope to see you there!

Another.net Logo

I made up this logo years ago, before I new better than to use PhotoShop for text, though it came out well in spite of that fact.

through my eyes

"through my eyes" was an art show for my work when I lived in Conneaut, Ohio. (I grew up in Andover, Ohio on Pymatuning Lake for anyone who thinks they know me.)

These are the poster's I made to promote the show. Also it was my first implementation of the 5:8 rule, AKA the golden rule. I use this rule to place the title. Though the Lemon is slightly lower due to the seed making it difficult to read, still works though.

MellisaKay Comp Card '04

A Composition Card I made for my favorite Model/Friend. I haven't been able to talk to her much since her second move (Navy Wife) and it looks like her website has gone by the wayside. Its really to bad, I mean she's gorgeous and has a great professional attitude.

I always hoped to see great things from her, but I'm sure she hoped the same for me and that never happened either. MK, where ever you are i hope you are happy.

Lots of work form '04

All day photo shoot (multi-model, multi-costume), tons of digital work from amateur/new models (ie. bad skin and such), video work, filming editing the works, Graphics for web/print/signage.

There were three that came out really well, the one featured here is (color) Bobby Jo. The other was a model I loved to work with and my photography portfolio is riddled with her face and body. All in all it was a great experience. Also the Male seen here came out very well, but that is just camera and PhotoShop work.
